Want to tell me how much awesomeness I am missing out by note reading books by these amazing authors? or about the authors you haven't read. Just leave a comment below :)
I have only read The Hobbit from Tolkien off this list, that's all. Not even LotR. :X I am trying to fix that this year. :D The rest should be on my list, too :D Happy reading!
The only one on this list that I've read is Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, I'd highly recommend it. We have a few overlaps in our lists, hope you can stop by my TTT
Sorry it took me so long to stop by, you've got a beautiful blog! I have Jane Austen on my list this week too! If you ever want to kill two birds with one stone, you should read Good Omens by Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaimen. It's very funny. @Get Lost in Lit
I haven't read Terry Pratchett yet, but I would definitely recommend To Kill a Mocking Bird, Pride and Prejudice, or any of Oscar Wilde's comedy plays if you are looking for a classic to read.
Ahh I know they are such amazing reads but they all somehow just keep getting pushed down my to-read pile unfortunately hopefully I'll succed to read them this year.
The only one on your list I have read is Harper Lee and that was because I had to read it for school. The classics don't appeal to me at all. I tried to read Jane Austin once and it was a complete fail for me. I couldn't do it. Great list! Thanks for stopping by earlier!
I've actually read a lot of these, surprisingly! lol I need to read more by many of them though. I really like Brave New World. I'd definitely suggest that. and I love Oscar Wilde!!
This books have been on my reading list since forever but for some reaon they always get pushed down hopefully I will succed in reading them this year :)
I know I just tried too but you know classics until they suck you in they seem boring and I tried reading Pride and Prejudice butit hasn't sucked me into it's world YET! I am pretty sure it will someday and I will love it absolutely:)
I haven't read any of these amazing authors. I have Persuasion and Pride and Prejudice on my shelf but haven't gotten around to reading those at all. But I love their stories and have seen TV and movie adaptations. :)

DeleteI've only read Jane Austen, Neil Gaimen, and Aldous Huxley. But I'm just not good with the classics, since I didn't read much in English class
ReplyDeleteBut I would def recommend Brave New World or Pride and Prejudice
I am thinking of picking up Brave new world soon :)
